Subject: Freestate Shooters, U-18 Girls
Dear Ms. Maxwell:
Pursuant to my recent discussions with Mike Lee, I am contacting you to seek your continued financial support of the girls' soccer team, as we move into the final, full year of their club soccer participation.
As in the past, we would welcome any contribution The C.O.U.Q. Foundation, Inc., would be willing to make toward assisting the girls this new soccer season.
A copy of the July 2006 budget letter is attached. Our budgetary needs remain unchanged from last
year.
And, as in the past, we have had a very successful year. Four (4) girls have participated on the U-17, US Women's National Team. All of the girls have received recognition on the State, Regional, and National stage. In fact, several of the girls have received college scholarship offers from Top 10 College soccer programs. And, as a team, we have continued to participate in, and to be successful in, the top soccer tournaments throughout the United States.
The upcoming year will be extremely important on several different levels. The younger girls will continue to be evaluated in college showcase tournaments; the older girls will have to work even harder than they have in the past to prepare themselves to participate on the national level in both the college arena and in National Team play. As in the past, to be successful the girls need top flight coaching and the ability to travel to the best tournaments in the
country.
