FW: Nadia progress report

 

 

 

Hello Nadia,

 

The GC has given me a written progress report with completion dates for the items I requested information on. Please the answers and dates below. I already addressed my concerns of time management to Anthony when we met earlier this week, but if you have any concerns on any of the deliverables please speak to Anthony as he is the direct line for the GC.

 

1. Millwork - Kitchen and office plus the island to be installed February 29.

 

2. Millwork for all other spaces will be built as a second phase (and has not yet been commenced), it is estimated to be installed by end of March or early April.

  

3. The entry door and the balcony door will remain as existing and be refinished.

  

4. Kitchen tops and back splash - As soon as kitchen millwork is installed, the stone company will measure right away.

 

5. The ACs are all delivered.

 

6. Balcony flooring - February 8 to be completed.

 

7. Balcony divider - no design yet. Nadia- please let me know if you have thoughts on what you would like this to look like.

  

8. Bath wall finish – needs to be reworked. Architectural drawings were not properly read and stone needs to be removed from a part of the walls to fix problem.

 

9. - Bathroom fixtures - Feb. 11 ( tub, medicine cabinet and Duravit cabinets installed). Tub was improperly installed, and needs to be re worked by GC.

 

10. Bathroom glass divider – order has not been placed. Must add 12-16 weeks after order is placed.

 

11. Bathroom lighting - waiting for delivery for the extra light fixtures that were added. Wiring completed for these lights and upon delivery this will be installed in one day.

 

12. Kitchen glass divider - This item has not been ordered yet.

 

13. Shower trough – Item has not been ordered yet. No date has been provided for item.

 

14. The GC needs information from you on the mirror behind the sofa in the living room. Do you want the mirror to go floor to ceiling?

 

This breakdown currently leaves us at a date of millwork to be completed early April, and the glass partition installed at the end of May 2008.

I just spoke to Nadia and went over the outstanding issues. The GC is installing round one of the millwork today. The glass sample provided by the GC is being forwarded to Nadia right now from our offices (as she no longer had her sample for review). It will be up to her to make the final selection on the glass.
