Dearest JE! How nice to hear from you! :)
The weather is rather pleasant now around 70-75 F and relatively low humidity. Better enjoy it before summer sets in and fresh air is just a memory.
Much love as always,
Cecilia

Hi JE! :)I'm happy to say that I will recover from the lung infection. For a while I was very worried since I've never been this sick before.Work is good so far.The Croatian boy is a really good, aspiring boyfriend, but I don't think he's the One. I never thought life would be this confusing at this age.Sending much love,CeciliaDubai diary:I've been boiling water to get some sort of humidity in my apt since its better for the lungs. Then I realized that all I need to do is to open the windows since the Dubai weather is sporting its own humidity! So stupid...
The prescription cough syrap doesn't seem to be a cough syrap per se. My lungs are well beyond needing to "liquify the mucus". I think this medicine kills everything in its way.
The guy who suddenly left his job and Dubai, he left most of his clothes and belongings in the apt. He must really have snapped... See what Dubai can do to a normal person.
Be careful what you wish for. I wished for humidity to ease my lungs. When I got out of work, I thought it had rained because my car was totally wet from the humidity. I had to put the heater on Full Speed to get rid of the fog on the windows. As you can imagine, having the heater on made it so much lovelier to be in the car...
My ex's STIRCRAZY self-proclaimed ex-girlfriend from 25 years ago, is working on the same floor as me!!! Oh goodie... I already ran into her twice on her first day. Of all the office buildings in Dubai, she had to work in mine.
I'm sharing A/C with the IT room, hence it's extremely cold and windy. The A/C took away all good the antibiotics did and I'm not getting better. I'm going on my 5th week of a bad lung infection.
Someone dear to me sent a humidifier shaped like a yellow turtle. The little turtle is working hard at night so I can breath.
My former colleagues from Al Madina called me when they found out I was sick. They know I'm alone and wanted to extend a hand. Very nice.
The aspiring boyfriend doesn't think I could be sick after a month which has put him in the periphery of my life.
I decided a job I had for two weeks is not worth getting pneumonia over so I asked if I could change desk for a week and my boss agreed.
I'm rather scared at this point because I've never been this sick before and after 10 days on antibiotics I don't see the end of it.
Went to internal medicine doctor. The infection is supposedly gone, and I'm left with an inflammation in the respitory system and rib cage. The inflammation is due to coughing for a month. I'm now on an inhaler for 2 weeks.
I will live.
