I spoke with Dr. Thomas with The Brain Clinic at length re a test for M next Sat. April 12th ...He says he can do it but recommends she do the test over a 2 day period and not just a one day period...this being said, he will accommodate us the 8 hour test in one day, but he would have to bring in another highly trained, senior licensed staff person and charge an extra $500 for the day (Dr. Thomas has a few appointments already for next Sat. and would need to duck out or cancel some of these appointments) If it is determined M has dyslexia, they do provide the necessary documentation needed to get extra time on high stakes tests. He says his documentation will stand up in court...

Total cost $3400 +$500 + more money possibly (if it takes longer to evaluate) (the $3400 includes the 8 hours with M and the report writing of 7 hours)
