My own interests are in integrated cognitive architectures (i.e.
things that Josh Tenenbaum
does), with a focus on
computational models of
motivation and affect. I am
modeling the emergence of
goals and decision making
from a set of cognitive,
physiological and social
drives, and the emergence of
affect from cognitive
modulation.

I would also be very interested in learning more about Deb Roy's work, because I love the paradigm of stepping up the ladder ofchild performance as a way ofunderstanding the mind.
