Creating Compassionate Cultures by Pamela Cayton.

Creating Compassionate Cultures (CCC) believes that the missing ingredient for contentment and wellbeing in life is focusing on the happiness of others. From this perspective we see the need for an education system that sows the seeds of compassion from an early age and continues to develop this altruistic psychology throughout life.

If children could understand that the source of happiness lies within their own minds and not within material possessions and entertainment, this would become the seed for developing psychological and spiritual understanding.

Similarly, if we could nurture parents, teachers, children and communities to discover that benefiting others is the quickest path to happiness.
