Fwd: Lord Macdonald's trip to Paris

I hope you are very well today.

I understand that you would like to organise a meeting with Lord Macdonald in Paris soon so you can discuss some legal issues with him. The best day in the near future would be 20th June.

Lord Macdonald's fee for preparation for and attendance at a meeting in Paris would be £20000 sterling, plus VAT if applicable, plus first-class travel expenses (we would also require Counsel's hotel accommodation to be paid separately, if the need to make an overnight stay in Paris should arise).

We would require receipt of the agreed funds by Friday 15 June. I can provide you with Matrix Chambers' bank details so that payment for Counsel's work can be made electronically.

I would be grateful if you could confirm that the quoted fee is agreeable to you, and that you can pay in advance by the 15th June. Once we have confirmation, I shall liaise with you to finalise timing, venue etc.
