This is a friend of mine th=t I mentioned you. I know him well (as well and his wife).
He is very sharp and s=per connected in Italy.
He is now thinking of running for Italian presi=ency in a few years.
As he is economi=t, he wants to get some background in government relationships.
This is a reason=that he would like to spend a year at HKS starting September.
His is able to t=ke a year off from his current post as a Managing Director at Mediobanca S=p.A.
He would like to=spend a year as a fellow (or whatever other title is) working either for D=vid G or Larry.
Could you please=ask David if he could consider discussing it with him (I think that David =ould be much easier than Larry — also as Marco is economist that would l=ke to go into politics, David might be a wiser choice). Marco will be i= USA the second week in July and would like to meet David to discuss
