Re: Dealing with French ppl :(
On ano=her note, it looks like my l'official deal is going through: 50% in th= Brazilian (7 magazines: hommes, art, travel, etc.) and up to 25% in the U= pre IPO launch sometime in spring 2017. Should I buy these shares as myse=f, my LLC, or under another name or entity altogether (offshore company)? =razilian tax laws are tricky when it comes foreign investment, was wonderi=g if you had any thoughts/advise or perhaps could recommend a descent atto=ney who could help structure these 2 very different deals? One is bu=ing out an existing partner in Brazil and the other is buying shares pre 1=O from the French owners (Jalou Media Group).
you need a local brazilian lawyer. . lets talk face =o face sometime in the next two weeks. i II be back in n= dec 6th. im looking for two new assistants=C2 real jobs great salary, need to be able to travel=C2 etc.
- Request: need a local Brazilian lawyer; asks for recommendations to structure two deals.
- Meeting: “let’s talk face‑to‑face sometime in the next two weeks”; returning Dec 6.
- Hiring: looking for two new assistants — “real jobs, great salary,” must be able to travel.
- Deal details:
- 50% in the Brazilian business (7 magazines: Hommes, Art, Travel, etc.).
- Up to 25% in the U.S. pre‑IPO (pre‑IPO launch planned for spring 2017).
- Question: buy shares personally, via LLC, or under another entity (offshore)? notes Brazilian tax laws are tricky for foreign investment.
- Transactions to structure:
- Buying out an existing partner in Brazil.
- Buying shares pre‑IPO from the French owners (Jalou Media Group).
