I had my first call yesterd=y with Starbucks, President of Global Retail, Mr. John Culver.

Mr. Mohammed Alshaya in Kuwait is their agent for the Middle East a=d some Asian regions. So in case of expansion their preference=is to go with Alshaya, whom they already have a good rapport with and trus=. If you have any opinions, comments let me know.

tell me what you would like me to do. =im not sure what you would like. . do you want me to go to board etc= i will do whatever , just need directions.

They told us that if we want we can consider to go through the Kuwaiti=Company (if they agree) and get the agency through and under them. But thi= may not be feasible. We do not want to pressure you on this, but if=the Starbucks management can consider us directly for the region we reques=ed, it would be good. I understand that Starbucks have there concern=in granting franchise of a very large region to a different and unknown en=ity, when they already have a trusted partner in the region. You can=check with your friends if this is something they could consider. Thanks.
