Re: G550 Carpet - cashmere wool and silk
This is beyond ridiculous I need to see samples . Y=u guys are wayyy behind for no reason
Hi Jeffrey,
In order to have a finer and more luxurious carpet m= recommendation is to switch to a cashmere wool or a wool/silk blend. The =ew Zealand wool that most of our aviation vendors are using will yield a s=milar result as the first samples as they use a 2 ply yarn in the machine which results in a less refined an= "fuzzy finish" , if you will. <=p>
Attached are two carpets from the handmade milli>=A0 created using a super fine cashmere wool and cashmere wool/ silk. I can=send to you for tomorrow in NY.
Pic 1— Handmade super fine 1pl wool for the=cut and loop.
Pic 2 — Handmade super fine wool with tussah=silk (not as brilliant) or the mulberry silk (shimmery). The loop will be =he wool and the cut in silk for softness and more luxurious finish.
Both carpets are produced at a handmade mill oversea= and are working to expedite this for me but I need to move very quickly a= it will take time to have an actual cutting produced for approval.
Please let me know if this is more to your liking so=l can keep pushing forward.
Thank you.
Eileen
Jeffrey,
We are not way behind =n the carpet for no reason.
We have presented cust=m samples in record time- better than anyone in the industry. We wer= using the same wool yarn that we used in your GIV that you liked and was =onsidering. You presented some synthetic house carpet that we matched and considered in your opinion to be a lousy quality (when it i= certainly not). We have been on the phone with various mills, drill=ng down to people who are providing a level of detail in carpet fabricatio= in our attempt to satisfy you.
Lastly, when asked for=your participation in trying to satisfy you, you simply comment ridiculous=
If you want the sheen =f the sacco carpet, we need to introduce silk- which you know is very expe=sive and normally takes 12 weeks to construct after approval of yarn4=A0 Eileen is working diligently on your behalf to make you happy, spending numerous hours on the phone talking to various mills.
I respectfully ask tha= you call and speak with Eileen so that we can keep things moving forward.
asking me to choose carpet based on a photo is ridic=lous sorry
