I have exhausted the "meal carriers" that I believe would be practical and fit in the cavity (18” wide x 23" deep. Total height of cavity is 25" (leaving no room for dirty dishes.
I believe your best solution is an insulated soft side bag that is easy to carry and maneuver through the aircraft and most forgiving should someone (Larry / Dave) "bump" into a chair back by accident.
This one is pretty cool as you can have jojo plug it into a cigarette lighter to stay warm. The only thing is that the person retrieving the food would have to slide the bag out of the cavity to gain access as the "access panel" is on the fwd side — NOT the inboard side.
We can make some simple removable shelves for the bag(s).
absolutley NOT. you told me you could have it made. please do. with rails that allow it to slide in and be fixed.
