I think I charmed them into wanting to work with us but we're going to discuss amongst ourselves and regroup about the details. Moshe and I will go visit again to have another walk around. The location that they want us to build and that we want to build is really only a few meters apart, but we want to build on top of the ridge and they want us to build at the bottom. Moshe, "You just don't build stuff at the bottom of a hill."

We may have to make a concession that says that if Tenzin and I both die, they get the property back or something. I think they're worried about us selling it to someone else who they don't love.

Jonathan Zittrain, my colleague at Harvard is also one of the best law professors and teaches torts. ;-) Anyway, he's also working with us and will help in trying to craft something that makes sense for us as well as for them.

I assume you don't mind what happens to the place 30-50 years from now right?

It is going to be a really beautiful building in a beautiful place if we sort this out.
