It is not a sewage leak. It is the outflow pipe for the floor drain in the pump room next to the ladies kitchen. The sink in that kitchen drains into the floor drain and the ladies regularly dump food waste down the sink drain. When that kitchen was put in a proper drain for the sink was not installed.

Over time a puddle has formed where the outflow exits from under the road. The food waste has been settling in the puddle and rotting along with feeding the tortoises.

The pipe is being extended today further down the hill so as to behave like grey water irrigation. We will also be opening up the cistern under the master to inspect and seal.
