Broken record here: =ontrition has to be coordinated with all other aspects of the response. An= this sounds like an apology that's not an apology which would like ma=e matters worse. The problem is that people don't want you to apologiz= for frequenting prostitutes, they want you to apologize for being a pedop=ile and for sex trafficking--and they don't want you to apologize for =hat, they want you to be crucified for that. A simple apology doesn't =flange the other side's narrative; I actually think it propels it. A pr=per apology is not an apology, it's a ritual act of public mortificati=n and confession. You have to be naked and through yourself on the mercy o= the media. To say the very least, the stage has to be set for this.
