After the unfortunate cancellation in 2018, our goal was to make the 2019 Onetangi Beach Races the most fun-filled & action-packed Sealegs event possible.

The races were held on Sunday the 17th of February and proved to be highly successful, with over 25 Sealegs parked on the beach and a record number of more than 200 guests in the Sealegs tent!

We once again held the Sealegs Speed Race - an adrenaline-fueled event filled with unwavering competitors in spite of unfavourable conditions, and the Sealegs Exhibition Race, drawing the full attention of the crowd with wild and wacky themed costumes.

Sealegs System 100 was developed several years ago in response to a growing demand for large-scale amphibious craft.

Since then, this Amphibious Enablement System (AES) has been integrated onto several large vessels for various applications including recreational, military and tourism.

The history of the creation and development of the System 100 AES has not been told in one place before - until now.

On the 29th of March, twenty seven Sealegs craft landed on Langkawi Island, Malaysia, setting two records in the process.

The first for being the largest assembled fleet of government-owned Sealegs anywhere in the world by the Malaysian Civil Defense Force (APM), and Fire Department (BOMBA).

The second for the longest trip undertaken by a fleet of amphibious craft, which was registered in the Malaysian Book of Records. The fleet took off from Melaka State on the 21st of March, travelling more than 700km north along the East coast of Malaysia to Langkawi Island and making pre-planned stops to demonstrate the advantages of Sealegs technology for emergency response.

Recently, we completed a video shoot with the 9.0m Hydrasol RIB & 7.7m Sport D-Tube.

Our goal was to highlight the key aspects & benefits of the "ultimate fishing craft" 7.7m Sport D-Tube, and the "family day-tripper" 9.0m Hydrasol RIB in their ideal environments.

Last year when we released Sealegs Electric E4 it attracted wide attention from several boating magazines & web publications. One of these was a mainstay of New Zealand boating mags, Pacific Powerboat:

Motorboat and Yachting, one of the largest European boating magazines, took the 9.0m Hydrasol RIB out for a boat test and review.

The reviewer once broke the record for crossing the English Channel in an amphibious boat (way back in 2005) on a 5.6m Sealegs, and was very impressed with how far the technology has come since then.
