Just spoke to Thomas, he was meeting with his Maintenance team about the GIV. He is planning to send his Maintenance guy to Stevens Aviation in Macon Ga Monday March 18th to accomplish the GIV Log review. Our wiring diagrams and aircraft logbooks are currently in Stevens Aviation, Macon preparing for the CPDLC / 36-month inspection.
Thomas wants to accomplish the Demo flight after the log book review. The log book review is for his own peace of mind, since they are not accomplishing any type of formal PreBuy. I'm confident about the logbooks since Westfield Gulfstream just completed a Log Book review back in Oct.
Best case scenario is Demo flight from Atlanta to Nassau Bahamas with his investors onboard, approx the weekend of March 22nd. Thomas understands this demo flight will cost him $100k Non-Refundable, but if he buys the plane, the $100k goes towards the purchase price, so he's pretty much committed at that point, he certainly not willing to throw $100k away.
Thx
