i just read the form assets are only required =f income is below poevery level . no worry it is ok

A granddaughter just ca=e with a request for Noam to sponsor her husband, who is an immigrant in t=e US through an affidavit of support (Form I-864) with the immigration.

Among the information required to be provided is income an= assets.

Besides the financial responsibility for=10 years, if the person makes use of government assistance or has a change=of address and doesn't inform the government, the liability comes to t=e sponsor, who can have its assets blocked by the government.
