We are delighted to inform you that you have been selected to attend the inaugural FUTURE of Physics workshop at Caltech this Fall, based on nominations from Cynthia Wheeler and Lawrence Krauss. The goal of the FUTURE of Physics program is to support the ambitions of aspiring young women in physics, who will go on to become part of a diverse generation of scientific leaders. The program will bring a cohort of 30 outstanding undergraduate women to the Caltech campus for an all-expenses paid 2-day event. The agenda will feature scientific talks, intimate round-table discussions on big questions in physics with Caltech faculty, and numerous mini-workshops designed to help participants through the graduate school application process.
The FUTURE of Physics event will be held on November 1-2, 2018 with travel to Pasadena, CA expected on October 31st and departing November 3rd. All expenses including flight, ground transportation, hotel, and food will be covered.
We hope you can attend the inaugural FUTURE of Physics event. Please let us know by simply responding to this email before September 13th. Once we have your confirmation, our colleague, Ms. Mika Walton, will be in touch to gather the information necessary to make your travel arrangements.

Couldn't resist—was reasonable to let Michael =now since I worked with him on this... This is the young woman =rom Afghanistan that I saved. (and who got admitted to ASU with =ichael's strong support).. Anyway, so much for not supporting =oung women in science, or not being in a position to continue having =ny impact for ASU students or in the physics community
