Re:
great seeing you, = I ,m having trouble distinguishing between your baker case&nbs=; and jesus. . having to accept christ seems to me i= your words " forced speech" . Laying out beh=viors to follow , seems legit. forcing ackowledgment of a belie=. seems like tell the baker not only should he make the cake , but he=should say I believe?
Great point! At a basic level, the a=ceptance of Christ must be voluntary. It's an invitatio=. No forced acknowledgments, conversions etc., as in the bad old days= Rather, the invitation is extended, warmly and lovingly.
. Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Say, "Father in Heaven, I believe that Jesus died for my sins." And=God will impart eternal life to your spirit... sounds like forced spe=ch to me
Again, fair point. But as Billy Graha= was wont to say, I don't pretend to know the mind of God. So=the great preacher for one would not agree with the proposition of unhappy c=nsequences automatically flowing to those who did not believe.
