Dear Prof Foster:
Thank you for your letter, which I received by email today, regarding my request. I am wondering whether you, or your assistant, or perhaps the counsel for the Committee, could provide an explanation of what are the specific roles and purview of the grievance committees? Could you provide a description or a link to a description of what is within your jurisdiction to consider and what is not? For example, what group would deal with possible breach of contract issues between the University and faculty members? Is there a group within the University that reviews or monitors governance issues associated with access by faculty to public events or university services on campus?
Thanks for your attention to this request.
