my thoughts were to buy her a white blouse, white bra, and black pants. The best thing i can do for her, as she is able to work anywhere, is to give her the tools to find a job. sometimes all it takes is just a little help.

I'd just add from my perspective that she was giddy, euphoric about the idea of a savior in her life, that's why she's inclined to follow his lead but the history of their relationship shows that he's likely to again keep the dangling the carrot and I'd just wait a little until she calms down and becomes a little more grounded.
