I'm writing to follow =p on our conversation regarding the transfer of funds donated by the =eon Black Family Foundation to support the Origins Project at ASU.

In reviewing =ur records, it appears that the donations were made by Mr. and Mrs. =lack personally, rather than through their Foundation. In order =o ensure our records are complete, I will need a confirmation from them that they are authorizing the =ransfer or that you have the authority to authorize the transfer on =heir behalf. A simple letter stating that they authorize the =ransfer of funds from the ASU Foundation to the MIT Media Lab would be sufficient.

Upon further review, we need to reconfirm the amount =hat we would send based on other gifts for the same purpose and =emaining unspent funds. I will need to obtain this information from our finance team and will let you know that amount once we receive =ocumentation of the power to redirect. Thank you for your =atience.

Regarding the funding from Enhanced Education to =upport the Origins Project, the same would be true that we will need =uthorization from Enhanced Education to transfer eligible funds.
