Michele Reilly
Dear Jeffrey,
My friend Michele Reilly asked me to reintroduce her to you; you met her and Michael Vassar a few years ago on the island. She says that she has made progress on scalable quantum computers (linearly with $1 per qbit), has prototype chips, working demos and IP, and apparently got Danny Willis excited. She is now looking for advice on advisors and private investors. If you like to talk to her:
The conference in Prague was inspiring; I got to know a number of interesting minds, like John Langford from Microsoft research, brilliant weirdos such as Brendan Ruff (finds his own algorithms for visual perception that seem to work well enough for selling them to the car industry), and Steve DiPaola from Simon Fraser (who makes psychologically meaningful models of the perception of art).
October issue of Psychology Today has an 8 page article about me ("Wizard of Consciousness"). Thank you for everything,
Joscha
