you MUST =UST state the facts accurately. you =annot say the first time was the tabloid article. the =omplaint re australia was first. . try not to parse and be clever =ith details. . 1 would also couch your comments as I beilieve or =t appears . stating as fact that the Dean s =ecommendations is grossly inappropriate. shows the =ame disregard that they are accusing you of. . you attafck the =udgment of the dean his staff and your =ccusers. not a winning strategy. = . you have lost the first round. attacking =eople is not an appeal. . go to the law. its =equirments that were not met. admit to a degree of social =neptitude. Why do you =gnore the Australia incident BEFORE BUZZFEED
new=paragraphs.. I could make it "my belief that the =ean's" in the first paragraph, but I think that dilutes =t too much. Of course I believe that.. Instead I have moderated =t by comparing it to the claims against me, and saying I will elaborate =elow. I have tempered the other statements in this =aragraph.
At the outset, let me emphasize in the strongest terms that the Dean'= recommendation is grossly inappropriate given the claims against me, for = variety of reasons that I will elucidate here. As I will describe, the Dean based his decision on an uncritical evaluation =f a deeply flawed, highly biased, and factually incomplete investigation. =ot enough effort was made to check the validity of certain claims against =e when parties with direct knowledge were available, the credibility of =ndividuals who were shown to have provided false information was not questioned, =nd other individuals at ASU who are familiar in depth with my experiences both =nside and outside ASU were not contacted. Moreover, my behavior, and its implications for others, was strongly distorted and/or misrepresented.
I also changed =his by adding ASU.. since it is the ASU claims that didn't =rise till after..
To the extent that this may have caused any concerns among some individuals =t ASU— concerns that I stress were never relayed to me or to the University during my time at ASU until after a tabloid =rticle appeared about me
