Worth doing, no doubt. But I think it would be better to let today's arrangement to be sealed and delivered before making this demand.

I think it's wise to delay the demand until after today's agreement is settled. I don't see any advantage to doing so before that, and since the demand might elicit a negative reaction, it might disrupt the completion of the agreement just signed.

And it has to be very clear, not just a request, but a demand with some force. Otherwise they could agree and just dismiss it.

I would suggest in an amicable way that you state that you want any conflicts to be in the past so you are bringing it up.
