I'm writing to share my recollection of our lunch=with Lucy Hawking around the time of the World Science Festival (WSF) in NY= in 2009.
Since I live in NYC, I reached out to yo= when I learned that you would be in town for the WSF. You mentioned that y=ur friend Lucy Hawking would be in town, as well, and that you'd like to in=roduce us over lunch. I accepted.

another tada today.. actually 1 big tada a=d two other more minor tadas..
- the big one: se= below.. 3rd party allegation regarding claim Lucy made (and never va=idated by Lucy) is now completely disproven.
others:
- Mel Thomson just did a podcast br=gging about the krauss affair.. in which she notes that not only did t=e woman not want to issue any complaint at the time but that Melanie hersel= did not think it worth complaining about until 7 months later when she hea=d me say something on a panel online about the March for Science that upset=her, and only then did she feel I needed to be punished for my general atti=ude toward women and minorities. SO she lied when she said she compla=ned at the time because of the seriousness of the offense. (she also=said buzzfeed had to find the other witnesses.. both of whom in fact were p=ople who had communicated with her publicly on twitter and were her friends=.)

1 mel thompson fact GREAT lucy less so. &=bsp; angies recollection is of zero importance. . t=e question will be whether the supervisor made contemprianous notes or stat=ments to others. why wont lucy say itnever happened=!
Supervisor didn't. And it was a yea= after the lunch. And as I say, supervisor memory flawed anyway. She rememb=red country wrong. She reported on it only 9 years after she claims convers=tion happened. Lucy has secluded herself after Stephens death.
