Re: The latest
Courtney and I just got off the phone with Cindy Jewett. Although she maintained her refusal to show us a copy of the report before the decision is made, she did say that she expected that the recommendation would include some sort of finding or discipline—so you are not, it seems, going to be fully exonerated. She wouldn't say more than that on the substance, but she said that you should receive the report "imminently," which she said means this week. Please forward it to us as soon as you do, and we can start looking at it and discussing next steps right away.
Thanks, and please let us know if you'd like to discuss anything.

If you like, before you authorize any "next steps" I am happy to discuss with you. DO NOT forward to them right away, when you go to the bakers you get bread. Go to lawyers you get a fight.
Ok. Thanks.
