Re: last year's 70th birthday present
I'll check on last year, my recollection was that the second party didn't happen, but of course I'm more than willing to help financially. I'm back in two weeks.

Last year you said you were giving me $100,000 for my 70th Birthday.
I had one birthday dinner in June in London for 50 people at Harry's Bar that Jessica de Rothchild paid for.
I hosted a second seated dinner/birthday party in Southampton in July at Gigi and Avie Mortimer's house that cost $70,000 for over 100 people. This price included catering, rentals, party designer, flowers, etc. I believe bills were submitted to your office.
Adam Lindemann hosted a lunch the following week, in Montauk at his Andy Warhol house for 50 people that he paid for.
The $30,000 that was left over was to be used for renovating my apartment. My office asked for this last year and we never got it. That's as much as I know.
If the $70,000 is the gift, that is fine. Just wanted you to know the back story. I am always so appreciative of everything you do for me...and keep me afloat emotionally as well. I am your very loyal friend always. xoxo Peggy

Had a terrific screening last night in East Hampton of Warner Bros. really odd film, "Crazy Rich Asians" we got all 30 Asians in East Hampton and 250 more stupid white people who thought this cultural cross over film would be funny to come. They all loved it. I think it's one of the worst embarrassing concepts of showing rich Asians acting vulgar. Whatever.
We have a screening Sunday night in NYC and another in East Hampton next Sunday night of Spike Lee's "Blackkklansman" that is sensational. So we are busy this summer.
Monday, Aug. 6th I go to Patmos. Aug. 13-23 I am on Pepe Fanjul's boat in Spain with Juan Carlos.
