DCA landing update, May 2014

I spoke to Mary Miller at DCA airport who is aiding in obtaining DCA, Washington National landing permission. We are expecting approval by Early May, approx. 8 weeks away.

There are only 128 approved private aircraft with landing rights at DC currently. Washington TSA and Dept of Homeland Security are slow to process applications, normal approval process as long as 6 months, since Dave and myself have completed Criminal History Reports and complied with Finger prints requirements with Palm Beach airport for our TSA badges, our process is proceeding faster than normal.

I will keep you updated when approval rights are issued to us.

Listed below are the approved Gateway airports that flights must originate to land at DCA airport. Teterboro, TEB and West Palm Beach, P81 and Albuquerque, ABQ are approved Gateway airports.
