Trudie is an amazing expressionist. As one journalist put it; This is Edvard Munch meets The Ramones.
She still works figuratively with strong roots in German Expressionism, inspired by artists such as Die Brucke (Emil Nolde, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Karl Smith-Rottluff), Oscar Kokoschka, Egon Schiele, Kate Kollwitz, George Rouault, Chaim Soutine, Francis Bacon and Marlene Dumas.
Artist Tom Sachs recommended Trudie's art at a dinner party in Oslo after his exhibit at Astrup Fearnley Museum, Oslo. As mentioned Norwegian's are pretty conform people but there are some collectors, banks and firms collecting her back home as well. She's also had good sales in Denmark, Germany and The Czech Republic. Our goal is to establish a broader market for her art in the US. The US and South American market is probably more susceptible to her powerful art that embodies so much emotion. Yes to Expressionism Renaissance.

I am in Florida until March 1st and back again from Oslo in April. If time allows and you ever manage to leave the tropics, I have 4 great paintings here that I could show you. One is called "Oblivion Seeker". It is She is such a gorgeous, strong young woman today at 18 years old. There were hardships for her growing up due to the accident she had as a child.
