Yesterday and today I've been searching possible universities I could study nursing. There is only three schools in Warsaw which have nursing programs. Thats Warsaw University (nursing; public health http://wnoz.wum.edu.pl/oferta/studia-I-i-II-stopnia and postgraduate humanitarian action http://www.futurus.org/pl/studia/zdrowiepubliczne.html) and at W (http://www.wszechnicapolska.edu.pl/index.php/pl/studia-podyplomowe/zdrowie-publiczne-podyplomowe). But they don't say anything about recruitment this semester.

I've been searching also related programs which combine health care with what i have achieved at POU.

There is also very interesting programs at Kozminski, which is one of best in Poland and high in rankings worldwide. It came to my mind that I could try even wider, which means not only nursing but even sth like humanitarian action or social aid or sth related. What do you think? Thank you for everything :)

what about nurse technician. start at less than nurse and work up? skype at 8 your time possible

This profession in Poland is regulated by law. I had no clue about that earlier. There is no nurse technician schools here (use to be though). Nursing is not so popular here anymore because of regular strikes of nurses due to overworking and low salary. My mother work as a clerk in education field and asked me to check The Act on professions of nurse and midwife. I found particular chapters describing education system and standards for nurses (f.ex. chapter 52, http://translate.google.pl/translate?hl=pl&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http://www2.mz.gov.pl/wwwmz/index?m=m7&ms=597&ml=pl&mi=597&mx=0&mt=&my=599&ma=019287).

I will be back home 11p, but i will keep an eye at 8, in case you call me earlier my skype calls go to my mobile :)

we don't have midwifes, I have an idea, if you don't find anything this week in poland I will fly you to ny. I won't be there. I will give you an apt to stay in. you can look at schools in ny. you can come to the island for a few days to discuss, and then go home maybe the 11-19?
