I understand that Lord Macdonald paid for his hotel room on checkout yesterday - the cost of the room was 795 euros plus 7% VAT, a total of 850.65 euros.
I attach a fee note. Would you please make the payment into the Matrix bank account as soon as is practicable, please? Thank you very much.
Furthermore, I understand that there is a plan for Lord Macdonald to go to Sana'a for meetings WC 16th July. He would probably need to fly from London to Sana'a via Dubai on Monday 16th, and would hopefully be able to attend meetings all day Tuesday 17th July before returning to the UK on Wednesday 18th July. The Yemeni Embassy in London require a letter from yourselves explaining the purpose of Ken's visit to Sana'a before granting him his Visa. We need to apply for the Visa tomorrow, so would you please ask somebody to draft an appropriate letter, addressed to the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen, 57 Cromwell Road, London SW7 2W, and e-mail it to me later on today? Thank you again.
I shall be in touch with the estimated cost of this trip once I have spoken to Lord Macdonald.
