Re: OK, excited again: Edge in Torino
Ginevra Elkann, grand-daughter of Gianni Agnelli, a film-maker and head of Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli, is eager to host EDGE in Italy in July in Turin at the family estate (a 45-room rococo mansion overlooking the Alps). I am thinking of involving Brian Eno as a speaker, and/or some other Edge scientists who I will bring in. Also the best and brightest from Rome, Torino and Milan. Eno has a show in Turin which opens July 9th so it would be around that time.

p.s. WSF: For some reason I look at the World Science Festival list of events, and fall asleep. Science popularization doesn't work. At least for me. I want the real thing and that's what we had at The EDGE dinner at II Buco last Thursday. It was scintillating.
