Hope you are doing well. I see they never miss an opportunity to try to drag you in - saw an article the other day asking how you missed the #metoo press and tying you to trump. Didn't mention much of all you have been put through already. I hope the cases are all behind you now. I would have liked to have helped; but i guess you and your team decided on a different direction. Whatever works best.

I am obsessed with prosecutorial and FBI misconduct wherev=r it rears it ugly head and i am committed to doing what i can to fight it=whether for my death penalty clients or a klansman. Lots of wrongdoi=g here and we all lose when the system breaks down.

is it overblown. ? all=mob prosecutors have strong feelings towards their targets. &nb=p; I recall many that told stories of how they despised gotti =tc. why is stryok different ?

Gotti was an anomaly because of his personality (some agents lo=ed him and some hated him); but I get your point. Couple of things:

1. This the investigation of the President. It is only as =ood as public confidence in it can be (subtracting the conspiracy theorist= on both sides). We just can't have someone with this kind of politi=al bias as a lead investigator. But more importantly, he was not alo=e. He was just stupid enough to show it in office emails. We d=n't yet know what his private emails showed. Strzok, however, says t=at he met with McCabe - the number 2 guy in the FBI - and in his office di=cussed how best to stop Trump from becoming President. That just can=ot be tolerated. Plus, if I find any evidence of personal or other e=traneous animus in any case by any agent or prosecutor, I view it as an op=n invitation for cross examination and any other exploitation possible as =t cannot be an accepted part of the process.

2. In this whole matter, I am most disturbed by the composition =f the Mueller team and it seems to me that if we are to learn anything fro= the IG's report it is the importance of having an investigation conducted=above-board without personal and political baggage. Mueller had a wh=le universe of lawyers from around the country to choose from to make up h=s team. He purposefully chose a murderer's row of the worst. l=can go one by one; but I will spare you. Here are a couple of exampl=s:

A. Andrew Weissmann was known in the EDNY as "The Patholo=ical Liar" after the SNL character. He literally would withhold excu=patory evidence throughout the case and then one day when defense counsel =ent to the bathroom or lunch, stick the documents under others on his tabl= and tell the judge the lawyer had it all along. I have been brought=into a case in which he lied from start to finish - and now his rats have =ome to me to admit their role in it - to get murder convictions in two cas=s. He has been cited by judges for his misconduct and he runined bot= Arthur Anderson and Enron through his work, all of which was rejected by =he higher courts. He also is a Trump hater and Clinton sycophant.&nb=p; Mueller knows Weissmann's conduct up close and personal. He chose=Weissmann for his chief counsel at the FBI years ago.

B. Jeannie Rhee, hand-picked by Mueller from Mueller's own firm,=was actually Clinton's lawyer in the email investigation. Now how do=s that look. She also is a bully and thinks she is a real tough guy =nd I don't want that kind of character around. I also have an ineffe=tive assistance of counsel case against her for a client in a $100 million=earnings management fraud case in which she was way over her head.

C. Greg Andres was another bully who replaced Weissmann in the E=NY. He withheld evidence terribly in his cases, regularly threatened=others, and accused a defendant of putting out a contract on him when he k=ew it was a completely bogus claim, but gave him the publicity he craved.&=bsp; He is 100% in the pro-Clinton, anti-Trump camp. President Obama=gave his wife a federal judgeship on the SDNY

and on and on.

I don't personally believe Russia affected the election at all; but I =ertainly am not qualified to say. I do know that we have meddled in =ther countries' elections as a matter of policy forever. But the bot=om line is, if there is to be an investigation, just play it straight up.&=bsp; I am friends for a long time with the IG. If they had picked hi= to head up the team, I would not be a weekly guest on Hannity tv and radi= (I never would have been asked), as I know he would pick a team of honest=folks from across the spectrum.

we're on the same team. strzok. testimon= was that discussions with lovers , often include embellishments. and not =ndicative of non professionalism. I believe he sai= nothing more than it referenced " andys office". . paig= says andy was there. how many other people were there ? =were strzok and paige. off in the corner talking to each other .&nbs=; was mccabe on the phone? you know that taking emails a=one is not meaningful. . isnt it a but much to s=y that prosecutors that have strong opinions . should be looked out with s=epticism? who doesnt have bias. . strzok had man= neg hillary opinions .. - michael cohen. michael flyn=. . are not fictions created by mueller ? how are you ?

Personal/Political bias is =ne thing (I still would exploit it any and every time on cross); this was =n obsession and directly relevant "Stop Trump." Also, the IG made cl=ar in his testimony Strzok told him McCabe was there. McCabe is anot=er real character. He denies this; but he also is irreconcilably at =dds with Comey on WSJ leak. Absolutely right that taking emails alon= is not fair; but I would point out that it is folks like Strzok and compa=y who have ruined many a businesman's life based exclusively on a twisted =eading of emails sold to a jury. Flynn is an interesting case. =1 believe I could have gotten his plea back for him in a second based on w=at has surfaced; but he decided to go a different way. But as to you= underlying point that there might well be something to go after with thes= guys, I hear you; but I have spent my whole career fighting bullies and c=ooked, unethical prosecutors. That will remain a guiding principle f=r me, whether the target is popular, hated, a complete jerk, guilty, etc.&=bsp; I am doing ok, thanks. I see you really follow this stuff.
