Hi Dalius,

We have been =usy, including busy working on your project. With the assistance of an =utside associate, we have reviewed the prior art search results and have i=entified potentially patentable parts of the system/apparatus in your orig=nal disclosure. There will have to be some arguments made regarding som= of these references. However, as this is a crowded area of the art, any p=tent that will issue will not be very broad.

For example, it appears that the TEW (Liquid Device) and card combinati=n is patentable, with the TEW storing the transactions (RE 38,137 has a sm=rt card that stores a year's worth of transactions, but no separate ca=d). The communication from the financial institution to the TEW wireles=ly and through the card also appears to be novel.

At present these features appear to be the most patentable portions her= - with the other features being dependent from those. Of course we wel=ome your input to develop additional potentially patentable distinctions t= be pursued in a patent application

The cost incurred so far to review the search results and reach a preli=inary conclusion is $1,500.00, which is considerably less than it would ha=e been if our firm did the work without outside assistance.

We esti=ate the cost to prepare and file a formal utility patent application in th= U.S. Patent & Trademark Office to be approximately $10,000.00 in atto=neys fees. There will be additional costs for government filing fees, d=aftsman fees for formal patent drawings, and other related costs.

We look forward to receiving your instructions on how you wish to proce=d. In the meantime, please contact me if you have any questions or requ=re additional information.

With best regards,

Amedeo

Dear Jeff,

My name is Dalius and I am a friend of Sim=na. I have known Simona for many years and she told me that you were her=mentor and a good friend.

Briefly about me. I am not an inventor and I do not=have any technical background. English is not even my first language. In=fact I have been more involved with fashion, modeling, real estate and car=

than electronics. Funny, but my other patent involved a bra with nipples, (=hat's tight with nipples:-) which recently, Victoria Secret recreate= and now selling in selected markets.

The thought of having credit cards replace= by a hand held device came to me in the early 90's. However the tec=nology to make this happen did not exist a= the time. With introduction of iPhone it all became possible.

Liquid=is a system that combines several aspects in the financial and security fi=lds to work together making credit card transactions more secure and more =onvenient.

The idea is to have one, reusa=le credit card, which could be reprogramed to the specs of any (Amex, Visa= Master Card, etc ) card that has a data encrypted in the magnetic stripe=A0or ch=p.

Taking one step further, even Liquid card itself could become obsolete a=d replaced by a mobile device (such as iPhone) using encrypted radio sig=al (or laser) to transmit data.

In other words you would simpl= wave your phone (just like a card entering a parking garage or office) in=A0front of a cash register and the data from the credit card

would be transmitted to the receiver.

To make suc= transactions more secure, Liquid would also transmit the data about the=cardholder (including cardholder's picture, name address, etc) to the register.

To further enchase security =he face recognition technologies could be implemented at the point of sa=e. Once the transaction is comple=ed the account balance would be adjusted in the device. In addition, Liq=id would remotely connect and communicate with similar devices informing=other cardholders (family members) that such a transaction has occurred.=A0

This invention would further prevent unauthorized credit card charges and would allow to track all ac=ount balances in real time.

After talking to several computer gigs, I was to=d that this whole process may be recreated in the form of a smartphone a=plication. Some changes to the phone itself would have to be made aspan> to accommodate the transmiss=on of the radio waves.

I believe that if Liquid system would be introduced=in the market, it would revolutionize the world of electronic banking. W=th it I see a tremendous income potential. From the creation of the app=ications, the sell of the devices to the banking / transaction fees... i='s all there.

At this point I have filed a provisional p=tent to protect this idea. A full patent application must be filed by No=ember 11th.

Dear Jeffrey, Simona told me that you have an unprecedented business and =inancial background. Hearing from the financial expert as yourself, it wou=d be of a great privilege to me.

Should you=have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. And if you feel this could b= taken to the next level, I'd be happy to meet with you at the time =nd place of your choice.

P.S. If you would like to know what my patent attorney thinks about=this, bellow you will find his letter written several months ago

Truly Yours.
