RE: Fees

Hi, Jeff. I hope all is well.

As you know we completed most of our work on the legislative project for you (now the "Financial Services Improvement Act of 2017") over six months ago. However, the bulk of our fees for this project (billed through Erika's firm) have not yet been paid and we have been patiently waiting for that to happen.

Erika tells me that this may have to do with the fact that the Governor preferred to have the fees paid by his office or by Peter Hiebert's firm. Exactly who cuts the check to us is not that important to us, but since you are the client and you engaged us for this work, we have no choice but to look to you for payment.

Can you please arrange to make payment now? Erika can provide you with the exact amount if you need it. If you want to discuss, of course I am available.

understood , i am meeting with the governore this week, he thought it imporant that the govt pay, for pr purposes at a minimum , not nice, ill report back aft3r the meeting

I have never heard back from you regarding the exchange below from nine months ago. I don't believe that Erika has either. Can you please let me know when we can expect payment?
