RE:
I m having an existential decision. . I would of course never do anything to endanger my friend. I find myself in the strange position of having to take on personal risk , call in highly prized personal favors. and at the same time with re biz he has been difficult to say the least. I sent him an email , that lays out my request to meet with you and him from three days after he paid . ie JAN 3 of 16. . three weeks later he got busted and his world turned upside down. I think he forgets the timing. He just completed an 80m dollar loss on phaidon , as a result of my doing. saved taxes on his art sale only with my help. and posits that " he is willing to reconsider things " no agreement and only after we meet. . At the same time I have to decide to put my ass on the line. for his personal goofiness. thoughts. ?
My general view, always, is that you should continue to do all you can to help and that, in the end, you will be rewarded fairly. There's so much going on right now and he's under enormous pressure. I genuinely believe that the two of us are the two people on the planet who he most trusts and who he understands try to protect him at all times — and that, once the pressures are lifted, he'll do the right thing. I really do believe that.
