Re: Fw: two students
Good afternoon Cecile,
I am writing to you regarding two students (brothers) who are in desperate need of financial help with tuition. The younger student is a rising 2nd grader who has been with us since the toddler program and his brother who is a rising senior. Please allow me to describe their situation.
The seniors biological father was arrested and jailed last March. Unfortunately it was fairly public and the child had to endure this humiliation. His step father (the biological father of the 2nd grader) simply packed his bags and left on the last day of school last year. The mother has been left without any support and no means to allow the boys to continue here at Antilles. Both boys are native St. Thomians and do very well academically. The mother feels that she will be able to handle the tuition for the younger child next year without any problem. I was hoping that maybe Mr. Epstein might consider a one-time donation of $20,000 to help these two students. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your consideration.
Warm regards,
Donna
