though i appre=iate the attempt. very very poor science. . 1. pai= threshold for ice water. 2. consensus, is the most profitable=decision in only certain circumstances. 3. as you and I know=C2 , leadership, is not often about consensus.

Yes, but empathy i= different than consensus-building. The former comes from strength, =he latter can sometimes be but is often not.

busine=s is not about keeping the group happy , it is always about results. =short time vs long term . not firing people, seems to be the failur= of many empathetic ceos. leading to disaster.

Why would business be any different than ot=er organizations -- that is, the performance of the organization is better=if it functions effectively as a team? Not about making people happy= but making them feel respected, secure, etc.

no set rule for all biz, many times visions are not =nderstood by the group. , militalry another good exampke at th= large level, yes you want team cohesivenss but must follow direction with=ut necesary agreeing a consensus, . any operation that people will n=ed to suffer, lay offs. firing,s military death, t=icky to have empathy and consensus, PAris is beautiful becuse =t had a dictator with a vision. . alabama had cons=nsus. on its downtown.
