While waiting to get your revisions Adam, we have done a little more editing and re-arranging, especially to the first two pages, and to the last page.. We really would like to get this finalized in the next day or so if possible. We think that other than tightening language in the middle to reduce length, no other significant changes are required.

it is not very good. for some reason it only comes to me in read only form. . 1. you will get a multitudinious response. and re. play all the past ones. buzz feed will go back and allege more and worse. you cannot continue to rely on banned vs restricted. . you should not use first names. ROBIN. one cant defame the community. ? its silly, they called my team names? . saying no real human being or person. ... not. a good idea. . you are attacking the tabloid method attack, . and reporters . and girls. . and and and. each one will feel a need to respond. you cant say no restriction but i check in with the head of physics.. the boat and nancy incident , simply says that both you and nancy deny approaching another girl. . so what.? since you mention the girl that has made electric complaints . she needs to respond. buzzfeed will do another article. and this time make clear negations . you stress over and over being defamed !HI it is super silly, Ibel. affirmative cal.. , It cant be a poor you story. . you are a public figure. . it must be about the facts and lack of true evidence if anything at all. lets look at what you are accused of. ? ogling? making someone feel uncomfortable. . ? propositioning.? this is not assault. harassment means multiple incidents with the same person. not one time bad comment. . put the definition of harassment in there, awkward, silly, clumsy one time incidents. not harassment. making inappropriate joke on AN occasion. there is no louis ck moment. your fly remained in place. . a woman comes to my room for dinner. she said i tried to kiss her , and she told her boyfriend that i made her uncomfortable. . yes, i tried to kiss her, and she said no, and that was it. . i am happy to have a forum , open to the public. where i might face my accusers and let the audience decide . the credibility . I believe in a full dialogue of all ideas. no matter what the basis . or emotional charge. I am a university professor. for that reason. . Lets test the evidence. In my lectures. on star trek, hundreds of people from different states have maintained that they have had contacts with aliens. . same claim over ten years. people that didnt know one another. . I always listen to the claims. and have the audience put the evidence to the rigor of testing. physical proof. ? violates. basic understanding. . witnesses. , etc. I am sympathetic towards women and their past travails. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt. why would a woman come forward if it were not true . ? I recognize the dilemma. robin, said it didnt happen. ? who is to be believed. the accuser or my friend. . not a simple choice. . did I expose myself ? no. physically abuse someone. ,in a public place. The climate is dangerous to defend oneself. from false accusations. the balance of respect and dismissal. The " I choose to believe " is the basis of religious freedom. and one I support. our system of due process. innocent. until PROVEN guilty, is and must be the way of society .

Thanks again Jeffrey.. There are many good points here, and we will adopt many of them. Re buzzfeed.. They will do another article if they can, whatever I do.. I am sure they are chomping at the bit to write an article saying 'since our original article many new people have come forward with allegations'.. and whatever I write will not affect that. You are right it cannot be poor me.. will try and reduce that.. and also try and incorporate more strongly that none of this is harassment.. I say it at the end of the piece, but it is probably too late.. I don't think I can or should use the alien argument here, because that really seems like I am putting accusers down.. lumping them with alien abduction people would look like I was attacking and demeaning them.

I will mea culpa more explicitly.. Next version this afternoon.

Jeffrey... Will send you the new version, but I want to stress a fundamental difference here.. I know what you have been working on is minimizing fallout.. but the fallout has essentially already happened.. and there will be more false whisper network claims of non-harassing but nevertheless damaging looking claims of flirting and the like I expect. We need to speak out, and I am becoming convinced that the only way to stop Buzzfeed from greedily doing more is to initiate a lawsuit against them. We will see.. anyway, for the moment concentrating on the letter..
