Good; would have been disappointed not to take it. M. Alaia has asked us to come back this morning because he wants to give me a gift, which is a beautiful red coat. I have no idea why, or what a proper thank you would be for such a gift.

Am hardly a celebrity...he is a very cute and sweet little man with enormous talent, but that fashion world is absurd; people gossiping and backbiting, like a bunch of 14-year old mean girls.
