My name is Jo Ann and I am working on behalf of a victim and her attorney's. We wanted to talk to you as our client told us that you would have information that could help her. We had stopped by your place to talk to you however, the landlord asked us to get off of his property. I am hoping that you would be kind enough to speak with us in order to help out the victim. We would be happy to meet you whenever & where ever is convenient.

I just want to be clear that we are working on behalf of a victim and would be happy to explain and show you documentation. Feel free to contact me either via email or phone. Please keep in mind we are trying to help our client as well as any other victims that may be out there.

I am sorry I can not help you. I do not know the victim you are working on behalf of, nor am I a victim.

My landlord is very strict about trespassers on the property, and I apologize if he was abrupt. Again, sorry I can't assist you in this matter.

We were asked to reach out to you informally because your name came up in documentation as being with our client, and we have information that you should be aware of. We would only need 15 minutes of your time. We will be willing to come to you and meet whenever is convenient.

We are trying to prevent you from having to go through a formal deposition, receiving a subpoena, or having to appear in court. Our conversation would save you the time and the inconvenience of having to go through that process. I understand you are not a victim however, we are trying to help other girls that may have been.

You can please provide me with the documents you speak about via email, and the information you might have that would help me from further inconvenience with this matter. You can also provide any questions you might have.

I do apologize if we upset you in any way that was not our intention. Unfortunately, we do not have a choice in doing interviews, we must do them in person and we are only permitted to utilize email if all other ways of contacting someone have been exhausted, and then we are only permitted to do so to set up a meeting. The reason for this is to make sure you know who is at the other end of an email.

Unfortunately, we are not permitted to release the documents we have because of confidentiality of the names in the documents. However, we are permitted to show the people we are interviewing the documents and discuss them.

Please reconsider your decision to talk to us. We believe based on what we have come up with that you have information that can help several girls who were victims in the case we are working on. We are just asking you to put yourself in their shoes and you will understand why we are trying to help them the best we can.

Having said that, if you would be so kind as to give us 10-15 minutes of your time to show you our information & ask a few questions this could alleviate receiving a subpoena or any other court process.
