Re: KaiserDillon
yes in principle. need to do my homework on him. etc.
sorry, i suggested no heavyweights. and said local. only, I want a lawyer that has worked on the same side as ASU not opposite. I have spoken to others re your situation
can we find a jew? this person that wrote you is a dope of the first order. 1 no need to be adversarial to ASU at all, YOU WILL LOSE if you are, guaranteed. !!!. 2. the law firm already lost its case last time. so .. 3. an older woman lawyer. single practitioner olk
look at him.. he says he has worked with ASU counsels before.. is not adversarial.
I have a few local suggestions but not sure..
Just had an hour consult with Justin Dillon of KaiserDillon, probably the premiere Title IX firm in the country (you can google all the work they have done). He is presently doing 2 cases at ASU, and it turns out he read physics of star trek when he was in college and is a big fan. He seemed excellent and knew just how the system works (and has already once forced ASU to end a suspension of a student because they violated his rights).
Anyway, we talked strategy etc, and I am confident if I went with a lawyer to keep me in my position at ASU they are the firm. They are not cheap though. $15K retainer, and he expected the full process would probably be between $50-100K.
Let me be blunt. Can you help? I have already lost over $100K in speaking engagements this year alone.
There is no one else I would ask so bluntly, nor anyone else I will be absolutely fine with whatever the answer is.

Dillon is a jew.. or should be.. he strikes me as exactly the type not to be adversarial.. He talked about working with the ASU counsel on the last case..
I am telling you, compared to everyone I have talked to so far, this guy knows what he is doing.
Btw.. the person who wrote to me is a jew. :)
