guest lectured for my neuroventures class, about their AI/brain
startup, Numenta (she is CEO).

Off the record comments:

One key issue with their work is that it's a model that attempts t=
mimic brain maps -- but again, as with the European Human Brain
Project, we don't yet have brain maps. So there are a lot of=br> > assumptions built
into their models.
Perhaps as a result, their models haven't done much. I think=Numenta
finally kind of gave up on trying to develop big hits with their Al

But I'm not sure any major outputs have happened yet.
