Here is the plan: I will be sharing the time between New York City and Hong Kong. Roughly speaking, I will spend a month in NYC and a month in HK alternatively. I plan to spend a total of 8 months in NYC. I could start the first visit in November, say November 17th - December 16th.

(I will call CUHK office today to confirm how many leave days that I could take). In doing so, I need to cancel all my non-US trips and classes in CUHK for the year 2016. It would be good if he could help to pay my air tickets, my living expenses in New York City and also living expenses for my wife and my two boys, who will stay in Wisconsin with friends. Besides housing in New York City, it would cost about 150 thousand US dollars.
