I had dinner with Jack Ma last night and he told me he is building his own satellite network.
They are quite advanced and of course have many BNs for this.
Can you send me a short summary ideally bullet points only and I will ask Jack if there is a way to collaborate ?

He has one Microsat named Juhuasua they are building, but it is not a constellation or system.

I don't know anything about him, other than he is from a very wealthy family in Hong Kong and related to smart tone.

He wants to invest in a company I am acquiring and wanted to talk with me.

I am buying 55% of a company called TaranaWireless which has incredible fixed wireless technology. They have been developing it over 10 years and no one else is close in terms of:

-It can operate complete non-line of site around 3km while still maintaining 1Gbps
-It can do this in unlicensed frequencies (5.1, 5.8, 3.6Ghz) while actively managing interference.

I worked out a deal with the largest shareholders because they specifically want my involvement and the company had run out of money. After people found I was coming in several others said they wanted to invest and/or tried to offer competing deals. Fortunately I had locked up the voting rights to the largest shareholder and the shareholders really wanted my experience more than money.

My plan was to execute the recap structure (my friends would be in at $1.10/share), help improve the management team and clean up a few things, then go raise $100m in about 6-9 months.

Kwok wants to put in 20-40m now, in this round. I prefer not to take more money in this round. I hear he is willing to come in at the set price of $2.00/share, but I don't know, because I hear is also asking for other deal terms. I guess I will talk with him this week, but I don't really want to complicate the deal structure. I just want to close and have a real clean cap table going forward for the next round.

By the way. I have offered up to $13m to some friends in up to $2m chunks. Jeffrey is in, and if you would like to participate I would be happy to have you and could tell you more.
