To remove the carpet and base, install Owens engineered 5/8" x 7" select plain white oak plank, sanded and finished on site would cost $3902.00. Excludes new base and doing the carpet at the entry doorway.

I'll type a formal proposal when I return Monday.

I just received a similar sized order of Owens 8" white oak. It took about 2.5 weeks to get, including production and shipping. In the interest of time, I haven't checked with another supplier but I suspect it would take the same amount of time or longer. If you get an approval quickly, send me an email and I can order this right away with my rep. based on your word.
