Good to hear from you. In addition to the usual stuff -- quantum machine learning (some great results here), use of entanglement in precision measurement -- I am gearing up to write a new book on the problem of possibility, choice, and instability in physical and financial systems. Provisional title:

The Black Hole of Finance: collapse and rebirth in the economy and the universe

You and I have talked about these issues and I would value talking some more as I compose the book proposal.

On a more personal level I'm working on reassembling my life after splitting up with my wife (short story, long process). At least I'll be more free to talk!
