Not really. Talked to Darren about subpoenas, etc., and have a call with Poe this afternoon about int'l Megan's law.

COUNT me in spoke to ariane. bottom line , she wants to fire 12 people. , she doesn't like hearing any contrary advice to her emotionally driven actions. hence no further request for your appearance there. and she wants to go on vacation with her mother to Capri at the end of the week.

I have given up on an apology -- he doesn't think he did anything hurtful; really may be a sociopath. Needs to be something else.

I know my job, I will need time. be patient.

I have run out of patience with him. Made a simple ask that any person with a shred of decency would accommodate: acknowledge that he behaved incredibly badly, deeply hurt and forever damaged someone he claimed to care about, and is sorry for it. That's all I have asked of him and will ever ask. Has been almost a year, and not a hint of atonement or regret for his conduct.
